Stay Calm And Ace Tests

Stay Calm And Ace Tests
As exams draw closer with the upcoming holiday season, students around the world are currently re-reading, highlighting and starting that climb up stress mountain. It is totally normal and expected to get anxious about exams; they are intimidating and hold your final grade in the balance. It is important, however, that you remain calm and clear-headed when writing tests or exams so the answers can come to you easier. If you are about to start that steep climb and are experiencing stress on stress on stress, then keep reading.

Positive Vibes

Talk yourself up, you are your own worst critic so, start telling yourself how you are going to rock that exam and blow your professor's mind with your incredibly intelligent essay, short answers, and general knowledge. The more you build yourself up, the less room you have for any doubt that you are going to fail. You can do this and once you believe it, it will happen.

Focus On You

Don't fixate on what anyone else is doing, especially once you are in the testing room. As soon as that test starts, you are the only one in that room and you are going to take your time and read every question thoroughly and take the time to answer everything. If you need to take your eyes off your paper to refocus, just close your eyes and take a couple deep breaths.

Read

Before you even start writing anything, read through the test, every question and all of the instructions. A lot of people get so overwhelmed by the test that they don't take the time to read everything and take in all of the details. Take a few minutes and read through the test to plan your strategy of attack.

Tests and exams really are the worst, because some people just genuinely don't test well, no matter how much they study. Stress does worse things to your body than a test ever could. Going into any test this exam season just remember to stay calm and keep telling yourself that you are going to destroy whatever your professor throws your way.

Don't Lose Focus After Taking Time Off

Don't Lose Focus After Taking Time Off

One of the hardest things to do is get back on track after you get back from holidays or after a long weekend. It's hard enough having to get up and go back to work on that first day, let alone having to actually accomplish work on top of not thinking about how you were just relaxing the day before and drinking 10 cups of coffee just to get you to lunch. Thankfully for us, there is a ton of tips and tricks we can use to ensure we never have those back to work blues.

Smile more: This sounds corny and will make a lot of people roll their eyes but, smiling more actually helps you cope better with stress, boosts your immune system, makes you happier and look younger. No one likes someone who constantly looks like they hate everything and everyone around them.

Respond to your emails in batches: When you get back to work and you see that huge number of emails that need to be responded to, it can feel like a huge weight on your shoulders that needs to be looked after as soon as possible. Responding to all of these emails at once can actually be counterproductive, and prevent you from doing things that actually need your
attention. Start small by answering 3-5 and then get more work done and reply to all of your emails throughout the day in smaller batches.

Nutrovape: Everyone needs a bit of a focus boost sometimes and Nutrovape Focus does just that. Using this product is the quickest and easiest way to make sure you get your head back in the game and ready to take on whatever your boss hurls your way to make up for last time.

Make a list of 3: The night before you go into work, make a list of the 3 things you know you will absolutely need to get done for the day. Then another list for the 3 things you know you will need to get done for the week. It's so much easier to tackle tasks if you break them down and have them in small to-do lists.

Holidays are great and you always enjoy the time you have off, don't be discouraged by heading back to work, your co-workers probably missed you and it's always fun catching up on workplace gossip when you get back.

6 Reasons You Can’t Focus

6 Reasons You Can’t Focus

You’re not getting your 8 hours

Turns out sleep is pretty important. It gives our brain and body a chance to repair and recover. So, when we're not getting the right amount of sleep, everything suffers. You will find it very difficult to stay focused on anything because your brain is not only tired, it's just plain confused. It hasn't had the necessary time it needs to prepare for another full day of activity, so it simply wants to shut down.

You’re surrounded by distractions

It can be conversations, music playing in the background and our smartphones beeping constantly. We catch something on the TV and our attention moves away. We should get into the habit of turning off everything we don't absolutely need when a job needs to get done. Does the TV need to be on in the background? Do we need to have music playing? Can the phone be put away? If we remove all of these distractions, we will surely improve our ability to focus.

You're not dealing with problems

We all have problems, but when we let them fester they become a distraction that strains our ability to focus. Whether it’s a call to the plumber you still haven’t made or an upcoming test you still haven’t studied for, these things have a way of lying in the back of our minds and making just enough noise to kill our productivity. Deal with issues head on and ASAP. You’ll find your day moves a lot more smoothly.

Your desk’s a mess

Do you thrive on chaos? Chances are you actually don’t. Clean up your damn desk (or wherever you work). Put your papers in order, file things, wipe everything down, whatever you have to do to keep things tidy – DO IT.

You’re overworked

Did you know, the U.S. is now leading the world when it comes to the number of hours worked in a year by the average citizen. And, the U.S. is also one of the only countries in the world that doesn't have national paid parental leave, mandated paid sick time, or mandated annual leave. We work a ton and our ability to focus is suffering because of it. Take breaks, step away and give your brain a breather.

You’re not using Nutrovape Focus

Nutrovape Focus is a blend of Guarana Extract, Theobromine, L-Tyrosine, L-Theanine, and Vitamin B12 that helps you concentrate on what matters. If you’re feeling distracted or unmotivated, take a few inhalations (don’t exceed 20 in an hour) and you’ll feel more alert and ready to crush whatever task you’re on at the moment.
